Luis Rodrigues born in Lisbon in 1973, a self-taught sculptor.

From the personal and natural restlessness in creating things, after several experiences with different materials, from wood, stone and iron, it was in metal that he found the best way to express his artistic project.

Strongly influenced by fantastic art and ancient mythology where mysticism, visions and dreams mix, creating the first Artworks.

A collection of unique pieces are the gateway to a strange world where futuristic and mythical characters mix in a surreal universe of dreams.

Unique pieces are made of forged and welded sheet metal where the hammer gives life to sculptures of organic appearance with subtle forms of volume and real looking curves.

He already held some solo exhibitions and currently his work can be seen at Casa das Artes de Gavião (Portugal) where some of his most iconic work is on display.
